리틀 아트선재센터(Little ASJC)의 세 번째 전시인 «캣츠 온 마스»에서 돈선필 작가는 “고양이는 왜 비어있는 택배 상자를 좋아하는가?”라는 장난스러운 호기심에서 시작된 다큐멘터리 영상 작업 ‹어드벤처 (5) 타임›(2020)을 선보입니다. 한정판 피규어를 구매하기 위해 오프라인과 온라인을 오가는 영상 속의 여정을 통해, 작가는 소비, 이동, 소유의 의미와 형성 과정을 탐구합니다. 전시에는 한정판 피규어 ‹no.187 피규어›, 택배 상자를 조형물로 재해석한 ‹대체 불가능한 상자›와 ‹사족보행 택배 상자›, 물욕의 변화 과정을 형상화한 피규어 ‹굿즈 허거›가 영상과 함께 전시됩니다.

In Little Art Sonje Center’s third exhibition 𝘊𝘢𝘵𝘴 𝘰𝘯 𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘴, Don Sunpil presents a documentary video work, 𝘈𝘥𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 (5) 𝘛𝘪𝘮𝘦 (2020), which begins at the humorous enquiry, “Why do cats like empty delivery boxes?” Through a journey to and from offline and online to purchase limited-edition figures in a video, the artist explores the meaning and formation of consumption and movement. The exhibition also introduces the following works: 𝘯𝘰. 187 𝘧𝘪𝘨𝘶𝘳𝘦 (2021) – a limited-edition figure; 𝘕𝘰𝘯-𝘍𝘶𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘉𝘖𝘟 (2021) and 𝘍𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘍𝘦𝘦𝘵 𝘞𝘢𝘭𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘗𝘢𝘳𝘤𝘦𝘭 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴 (2020) – a reinterpretation of parcel boxes to sculpture; 𝘎𝘰𝘰𝘥𝘴 𝘩𝘶𝘨𝘨𝘦𝘳 (2021) – a video which shapes the process of changing material desires.
